How to cut Rebar with the help of Angle Grinder?

If you choose to cut the Rebar with the help of an angle grinder, then you need to follow these steps:

  • First, you need to use a suitable attachment to cut down the Rebar properly. Use abrasive disc for metal cutting.
  • Take a marker and mark the position which you want to cut down.
  • Set your angle grinder to the maximum RPM that is available in your machine to get more power.
  • Please switch to the grinder mode and let the abrasive disc do its job. One should keep in mind that you don’t need to apply too much pressure on the Rebar.

How to cut down the Rebar with Circular Saw?

A Circular saw is one of the most common tools that you will find on any construction site. A Circular saw is made up of solid material that helps in cutting down heavy metals. Rebar comes in different elements, and one of them is carbon steel.

Like the angle grinder, you can use the abrasive disc on the circular saw and operate it on the highest rpm. You will notice the sparks when it touches the surface of the Rebar. The safety hazard is because the regular circular saw blades are not as durable as the abrasive discs.

What is the safety measuring a person should follow while cutting the Rebar?

Operating these machines and tools is dangerous work, and people should be aware of the risks they can experience.

To get the job done safely, you need to follow these points:

  • Make sure that the tool is well greased or oil so that it didn’t get stuck anywhere.
  • Check the electrical wire and the machine properly to avoid electric shocks.
